This page covers the "Get Involved" enquiry form on this site. It does not cover any future payment or adoption process, which will have its own terms when it is built.
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect your name, email address, organisation or group (if you give one), what best describes you, your message (if you write one), and whether you've asked to receive occasional project updates.
To reply to your enquiry personally, and — only if you tick the updates box — to occasionally email you when there's a confirmed project milestone or finding worth sharing. We don't use it for anything else.
Submissions are stored in Cloudflare's KV data store, a secure cloud database used by this website's hosting provider. They are not shared with, sold to, or visible to any other organisation.
Only the person running Restoring Sealife, contactable at hello@restoringsealife.nz, can access submitted enquiries.
We keep enquiries until you ask us to delete them — there's no automatic expiry. Email us any time to have your information corrected or deleted.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand overall visitor numbers and which pages are used. Your name, email address and message are never sent to analytics — only anonymous, aggregate page and click activity.
